Our school houses are Oxford (yellow), Yale (red), Harvard (green) and Cambridge (blue). The house system provides opportunities for each learner to develop friendships across all levels within the College and at the same time provides occasions for a healthy spirit of competition. Learners earn “house points” for internal sports and cultural activities, as well as outreach projects. Each teacher and learner is assigned to a house upon enrolment.
For new learners, within the first few weeks, a badge will be ordered and issued to your child to wear on their blazer. House shirts may be ordered from School and Leisure.
All lost property goes to Mrs. Oxley-Simpson’s office, which is in the foyer where the learners enter in the mornings. Occasionally, lost property is put out on the table in the foyer for everybody to see. Please label all your child’s items in order for us to return it to the owner. Parents are welcome to pop in to Mrs. Oxley-Simpson’s office to look for an item. If Mrs. Oxley-Simpson is not in her office, please find Anastasia or pop in to our front reception for assistance.
Sometimes, over time, names come off or fade, making it difficult for us to read unclear labels. We have a very controlled lost property system and if items are labelled, they are immediately returned to the owner. We would love your help to ensure your child keeps all their uniform and other items (lunch boxes and water bottles) safely in their possession.
